GUN-ONE

The 2nd Amendment to the Constitution of the United States was put there by the same men who gave us the 1st and the rest of the Bill of Rights.  Seeing as it was the 2nd Amendment, it must have been very important to them!  I don't believe they wrote it to    have it debated in future years as to what it means!  It is part of the contract between the Government and the People, that let's us   the People protect ourselves from evil doers including a tyrannical government!  It is not about hunting or gun collecting it is  about protection!  If we lose the 2nd Amendment or have it weakened in any way we are opening up the door for a loss of our other freedoms!

Having had many interests over the years, guns and photography have been a constant in my life!

I have been a very successful competitive shooter, winning several states and a national championship in Police Combat.  I started my competitive shooting with the Keystone Military Shooters back in the 70's during the beginning days of IPSC.    I got started in PPC when I joined the SCID (State Correctional Institute at Dallas).  I did that for a couple of years and then joined the Sheriff's department and we formed a four man team.  For several years we competed very successfully, winning many states matches and National titles both as a team and individually.

Currently all my shooting is just for fun, but I do carry daily, as I have for the past thirty years.  I reload all my ammunition on a Dillon XL 650 press.  Having had many reloading machines over the years including the infamous RCBS Green Machine,  Dillon by far is the best bang for the buck.

I also dabbled in the R/C hobby for 20+ years starting with pulsed gliders and spending the last 10 years and sixty thousand dollars flying Helicopters.  Having gotten to the point that my scale machines were winning contests and my aerobatic skills had improved to the point to that I became the teacher.  I quit the hobby when I became bored and tired of spending 2 to 3 grand for wrecked machines every time I wanted to learn something new.

Being involved in computers  for forty years, varying from large scale mainframes such as the IBM 360, or 3090 down to the midrange AS400 series and PCs since their inception, I have taken my interest in photography from the film/chemical darkroom stage in the mid 60's to the digital age!

My first digital camera was the Epson Photo PC 500 to my current brace of cameras including a Canon S40 and a Nikon D70 with all the goodies.  Support for the cams is handled by nine systems networked with Windows XP Pro and of course Adobe Photoshop CS!  Being in the custom built computer and repair business helps keep me up-to-date on technology and software.  By the way in the five plus years I have been running XP I have experienced 0 problems! Thank you Bill!  I hope you enjoy your visit and if you have any comments they are welcome.

I started riding a motorcycle in September of 06.  I started out with the Kawasaki Ninja Ex250.  It was a great machine to learn on!  This September I traded it in on a new Kawasaki ZZR 600.  I still can't get the grin off my face!
